MEREDITH NAMED IN PFA TEAM OF THE YEAR

Bantams left back James Meredith has been named in the PFA Team of the Year for Sky Bet League One.

The Australian defender has been selected in the division's top XI following a vote by all of the other players within the twenty-four teams of League One.

The accolade for Meredith comes after the full back was also included in the Football Manager Team of the Season for League One at the 2017 EFL Awards last month.

Speaking about Meredith's inclusion in the seasonal top team, McCall said: "It is well deserved for James.

"He has been consistent throughout this season. He has been named as the best left back in the division and you probably can't argue with that.

"It is a great honour for James, especially as it has been voted for by his fellow professionals."
