URWIN MAKES IT THREE

5 August 2014

The Bantams have secured their third new player of the day this Tuesday by snapping up goalkeeper Matt Urwin on non-contract terms.

The 20 year-old shot-stopper finalised his move at the Coral Windows Stadium this (Tuesday) afternoon after agreeing a deal with Bantams boss Phil Parkinson.

Urwin joins fellow 'keeper Ben Williams and winger Mo Shariff in moving to the club on a non-contract deal today (Tuesday).

The former Blackburn Rovers custodian, who has been on trial with City for the past two weeks, will now battle it out with Williams and Sunderland loanee Jordan Pickford for possession of the Bantams' goalkeeping jersey at the start of the new season.

Urwin's arrival, along with the signings of Williams and Shariff, will now give Parkinson some more options within his squad ahead of the closure of the summer transfer window at 11:00pm on Monday 1 September 2014.
